When you first start out in business, you don’t think of things like outsourcing. You don’t have allot of money to spend and you want to get your feet planted.

Let me tell you what this will do for your business. Have you heard the saying “treading water”? What is it.

Treading water basically means your doing things that are keeping your business running but your not moving forward. Moving forward is where your growing your business.

You want to do things that will help your business move forward. If your busy with help desk tickets all day, your time is not being well spent, your treading water. Outsource those tasks so you can free up yourself.

When you outsource tasks to free up your time, your business will grow faster.

How do you begin? While you’re going through your daily routine, ask yourself, “am I moving my business forward?” and “can I outsource this task?”. If you answered yes to the second question, then you need to outsource that task.

Do that for everything you do during the day. At the end of the day when you would usually finish your day, take some time to write an email to your list. Tell them your expanding you business and your looking for someone to help out.

Next, create a page where you can describe the job qualifications. You could add a page on your blog. Then add a contact form so you can call them and discuss the job.

Now send the email with a link to the page and follow up with people that respond. Now you can focus more on growing your business and your other tasks are being taken care of too.

Every marketer needs to utilize lost traffic. But what is lost traffic?

Lost traffic is your error pages. Error pages are when, for example, you type in an address and the page doesn’t exist, you are taken to the error page.

Why use them and how can I use them? Glad you asked.

Each year you could have thousands of page views to your error pages. Last year to one of my error pages I received over 20,000 page views. If you can utilize just 1% of that by getting a name and email address, you would get and extra 200 subscribers.

Then you can follow up with them and create more income. Just image if that number was 3% or 600 subscribers each year. It’s free traffic.

Why focus your efforts? How can you focus your efforts? Where do you focus your efforts?

When you focus your efforts you’ll get better results. If you’re doing allot of things your efforts are being spread out too much resulting in little to no results.

Before you figure out where you should focus your efforts, you need to come up with a list. First, write down everything you’re currently doing. Now organize your list into common tasks. Can you combine some things to reduce a task or do you even need to do this task.

When your looking at the “big picture” you can see where you you loose allot of time and waste allot of effort. If you have 10 tasks, outsource 7-8 of them. Work on 2-3 of them. Now your focused.

Let me use an example using traffic exchanges. MyLSNClub uses a number of traffic exchanges. I suggest only using 2-3 at a time. If your doing more than that at a time, you won’t get as much traffic in each traffic exchange. On the other hand, you will be able to view each page more in-depth.

You just need to weigh your options. Viewing each page is important because it will give you a clearer picture of a good lead capture page and a bad one.

Begin taking action now and take care.
